The short version: Warranty Window Radar keeps your warranty records, proof files, OCR results, and reminders on your device. We have no servers, no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your data.
This policy explains how Warranty Window Radar (the "App", "we", "us") handles information. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
None. We do not operate servers or a backend for the App, and the App contains no analytics, advertising, tracking, or third-party crash-reporting software. We have no way to see, receive, or collect the warranty records or proof files you save in the App.
The App helps you track product warranty windows. The information you add, such as item names, stores, prices, purchase dates, warranty end dates, serial or model numbers, support notes, reminder settings, and receipt or proof attachments, is stored only in the App's private storage on your device. It is not uploaded to us.
If you have iCloud Backup enabled, your device backup may include the App's local data. Those backups are created and protected by Apple under Apple's privacy policy, not by us.
The App asks for these permissions only when you use the related feature, and uses them solely on your device:
You can grant or revoke permissions at any time in your device's Settings app. The App remains usable if you decline them.
When you scan a receipt, the App uses your device's built-in text recognition to suggest purchase details. This processing happens on your device. Receipt images and recognized text are not sent to us.
The App offers an optional one-time Pro upgrade. The purchase is processed by Apple's App Store under Apple's terms and privacy policy. We do not see, receive, or store your payment details. The App uses Apple's StoreKit system to confirm whether Pro access is available.
The App can create proof summaries or PDF proof packets when you choose to share them. Those exports are created locally and are shared only through the system share sheet actions you select.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your information with anyone. We have no access to it.
Your data stays on your device until you remove it. You can delete saved warranties and proof files in the App. Deleting the App from your device removes the App's local data, subject to any device backups managed by your operating system.
Because your information stays on your device, you remain in control of it. You can view, edit, export, or delete it directly in the App. We hold no server-side copy and cannot access, export, or delete it on your behalf.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and it does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If we make a material change to this policy, we will update the effective date above and publish the revised policy at this location. Your continued use of the App after a change indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
