Habits — Simple Habit Tracker · Last updated June 30, 2026
The short version: your data never leaves your iPhone. Habits has no account, no cloud, no analytics, and no tracking. We do not collect any personal data from you.
Information we collect
None. Habits does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. The app has no servers and makes no network connections to us.
Where your data lives
The habits you create and your daily check-ins are stored only in local storage on your device (iOS UserDefaults). They are included in your device's normal encrypted backups (iCloud or iTunes/Finder) if you have those enabled — that is handled entirely by Apple under your own Apple account, and we never see it. You can export your data to a JSON file at any time from the in-app Settings, and you can delete it by removing a habit or deleting the app.
Analytics and tracking
There are none. Habits contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising, and no tracking technologies. Our App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected," and the app ships an Apple privacy manifest declaring no tracking and no collected data types.
In-app purchase
Habits offers one optional, one-time tip to support development. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never receive or store your payment information. Apple's handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Children's privacy
Habits does not collect data from anyone, including children, and contains no objectionable content (rated 4+).
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
